Like waiting for water to boil…

What’s worse than that?

What is a more strenuous test of patience than waiting for water to boil?

I’ll tell you…… it’s waiting to see if the snow, that’s falling, is actually going to accumulate or not. The kids are pacing. Walking to every window giving me 30 second updates…

“It still snowing mom!”

wait for it…

“It still snowing the back yard mom!”

and again…

“Yep, it still snowing in the front yard mom!”

AGH! Why couldn’t we have just awoke to find snow on the ground? Better yet, why did I open my mouth and tell them it was snowing? The curtains were all drawn, they would have never known.

Why? Because I too am a child, and I got excited when I saw the first flake fall, and I had to shout it out…

IT’S SNOWING!

    Got here through cafemom.
I can relate to that. I have a toddler and every new thing now excites him and he has to tell me about it. Not once but at least 5 times!! 🙂

We had a good four hour fall but no accumulation, which is a good thing because seeing the snow falling made Tader think Santa was coming!

Tot’s Mom- thanks for stopping by! My girls still do that and the oldest is six! I’ve even tried kneeling down, looking them in the eye, so they KNOW I heard them the first time… but it doesn’t work… they’re going to tell me again and again and again…
