The Mission Statement

From Home Sanctuary’s Small Things… this was from Friday. Write a Home Housekeeping Mission Statement. Which I did do on Friday, I just didn’t get to blog about it until this morning. Besides, she wanted me to think about it over the weekend.

My Housekeeping Mission Statement:

My home is going to be a place of rest, a warm, safe place to fall. Not just for my husband, who spends four hours each day driving to and from an intense job. But for myself and my kids. We will be able to find craft supplies without a two hour treasure hunt. We will be able to make cookies at any moment because the kitchen will stay under control. Our children will learn to respect and appreciate their things because they will see Mom and Dad respecting our things by putting them away-where they belong-when we’re done with them. I will be able to invite others over without first having a week’s notice. We will continue to have hand print and paper plate artwork taped to the walls, because that means we have exercised our imaginations. We will continue to have muddy shoes in the laundry room, because that means we’ve been outside, enjoying God’s creations, and having fun.

Thanks 🙂 I’m glad you like it!

I’ve noticed the more I SHOW that I’m trying to keep it picked up the more the kids try to copy me and attempt to pick up their stuff.
