Inspiration from Jim’s Pancakes …Check
How hard could it be right? They did it on TV. Just squirt an outline, fill it in with another color, cook, flip, eat, right?!
Talent? Skills? None.
This was harder than it looked on his blog. They tasted good, and the kids were very excited. Next time I should follow one of Jim’s recipes since these kind of fell apart under the pressure of syrup.
This WILL be tried again. Maybe then I’ll get pictures of the actual pancakes.
Have you tried any as-seen-on-tv recipe lately? How did yours turn out?

You are a braver woman…and much more patient woman…than I!! I’d love to see pics of your next creations!
It was crazy 🙂 The top sides came out cute, the bottoms not so much. And I ran out of batter fast!
OMGosh-what a cool idea-as soon as I can get some condiment bottles we’re so gonna try this!
Sonita, we did this again with a Snowman theme! Breakfast for dinner and we did snowmen and snowflakes and Christmas trees. (No food coloring this time).
The kids LOVE it!
(Hubby ended up going to Kmart to get the bottles for me, but our craft store has some that you use for making chocolate candies – I think those tips are bigger)
