A Beautiful Blogger Award!

Wow! Another Blogger Award!  Ya’ll really know how to make a Momma feel special 🙂  My last one was the Sunshine Award for my Chaos Appreciation Blog.
Thank you to Crystal from Thrifty and Frugal Living for this award!

Here are rules to accepting the nomination:
1.  Thank the person who nominated you
2.  Copy the award and paste it on your blog
3.  Link to the person who nominated you for the award
4.  List 7 interesting things about yourself
5.  Nominate 7 beautiful bloggers
I think I’m pretty boring but let’s see what I can come up with:
1. I have three brothers and four sisters all of which are either half siblings or step siblings… yet I married an ONLY child!
2. I am proud to be a country girl and try to hide that I grew up in Virginia Beach… so very NOT country!
3. I was published once… in college… for a non fiction story I wrote about talking to my biological dad for the first time… (Love You Daddy!)
4. If I could do college over again it would be for graphic design or  web design NOT accounting.
5. I secretly enjoy washing dishes….if people would leave me alone when I do them!
6. I sing karaoke to lose weight… it’s amazing how many calories you burn pretending to be a rock star!
7. I had our third child at home, water birth.  Not birthing tub though…  my midwife is old school…  I had Bubbagirl in a livestock trough, right in my living room.. and it ROCKED!  Can’t wait to do it again in June!
Okay…Now to pick 7 Beautiful Bloggers (in no particular order):

  1. Queen Bethy at Her Majesty’s Throne
  2. Brooke at A Life in Need of Change
  3. Rachel Anne at Home Sanctuary
  4. Heather at Keeping a Quiet Heart
  5. Smrt Mama at Smrt Lernins
  6. Betty at Peace Creek Prairie
  7. Renae at Life Nurturing Education

Congrats Ladies!  Thanks for Blogging Beautifully!

Thank you Everyone!

Many thanks to the people that nominated my little blog for the Home School Blog Awards!
I really enjoy having a place where I can share my experiences and pass on all the wonderful resources I have found or been shown. I love home schooling. Making the decision to do this was the easiest and hardest thing I think I have ever done. When your following God’s will for your life it can often feel that way.
With the holidays arriving I have not been able to add all the wonderful things I wanted to add to this blog but it is progressing little by little. Thanks again to everyone for their love and support!
Happy Voting, and Best Wishes to the other candidates—check them out here!

The Homeschool Blog Awards!!

Hi Everyone!
I hope everyone is having a great start to the week! I’m pretty excited… we usually don’t get a lot of school work done on Monday but Sammy was in a particularly good mood all day. We even managed to do a little Pre K with JoJo. No balloon testing or coconut bowling, just your basic addition and some reading.
I want to shamelessly ask my blog readers and fellow bloggers to please click this image and consider nominating me for the “Best New Homeschooling Blog”.

I know, shameless blegging… forgive me 🙂
Other than that 🙂 please check back with me tomorrow, either here or at Too Busy To Clean to see JoJo learn about basic bathroom toilet seat repair…. these pictures just cannot be staged.
